We developed this ad using Stratton’s very consistent brand style by creating an animated ad using their icons, and strong brand colours. We also thought about their brand personality – what language do they use? How do they want to be perceived in the market.
Our target market was 18-30 year olds. We used a younger voiceover artist who sounded like a knowledgeable peer and more casual language than you’d see in most finance ads. Stylistically we chose: funky, trendy music; fun sound effects; and the type of imagery we knew would appeal to a younger market.
We get bombarded with advertising so getting audiences to act can be hard work. The call to action (the URL) gets plenty of screen time in this ad without any distractions and is supported by the voiceover. This helps audiences remember and strongly encourages them to take action.
